How to prevent oil leakage in sealing elements of a breaking hammer and the solution to it.
Situation No. 2: there is something wrong with the sealing elements:
1. Surface of piston seals and rod seals hardens, surface of motion fractures
Reason: abnormally too high speed working pressure
2. Surface of piston seals and rod seals hardens and the whole sealing elements fracture
Reason: hydraulic oil goes bad; ozone generated by oil of too high temperature damages seals, and thus causes leakage.
3. Surface of piston seals and rod seals is worn smoothly like a mirror,
Reason: little motion in cylinders, but high oil pressure and short distance of travel.
4. The worn surface of piston seals and rod seals is uneven, and seals dissolve and swell,
Reason: lateral pressure is too high; eccentricity is too large, and unsuitable oil and cleanout fluid are used.
5. piston seals and rod seals surface of motion are worn and there is polishing scratch
Reason: poor electroplating, rusting, matching surface is too rough; and piston rod of unsuitable material, which contains impurity, is used.
6. Top of edge of piston seals and rod seals fractures and there is indentation.
Reason: angle of chamfer, method of installation, storing are improper.
7. There is indentation on piston seals and rod seals surface of motion;
Reason: there are impurities.
8. Edge of piston seals and rod seals cracks;
Reason: improper usage of oil, working temperature is too high or too low, backpressure and pulsating frequency is too high.
9. Piston seals and rod seals are carbonized, scorched and go bad.
Reason: residual air and thus causes adiabatic compression.
10. Main oil seal extrusion heel cracks
Reason: pressure too high, extrusion gap too big, back-up ring is improperly used, groove design is unreasonable.
